- Was an original founding member of a group Rick named The Donuts, originally conceived as a Bay Area cover band with guitarist Paul Skelton and keyboardist Bryan Yoshida. In the late 70's and early 80's, original Donuts' guitarist Skelton, and songwriter/guitarist Thom Alexander formed an all-original, power-pop version of The Donuts which appeared on Recording Industry Legend Howie Klein's 415 Records Sampler and performed in the Los Angeles area to glowing reviews.
